ABOUT AUZRIELLE

Born and raised in the River Bend Area, Auzrielle found joy in writing short stories as a child, a love that seamlessly transitioned to the silver screen as she spent hours watching movies. It was during these movie marathons that she discovered her dream of both creating and starring in her own cinematic adventures. Throughout high school, Auzrielle honed her theatrical skills from parts in plays and musicals. In college, she delved deeper into the art of filmmaking, immersing herself in projects where she explored various roles, from writing and directing to acting and production. She graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors and a minor in Creative Writing in December 2020.

Auzrielle's creative interests expand beyond cinema. She ventured into the world of content creation with her YouTube channel, "All Things Auzrielle," where she shares her vibrant personality through vlogs and advice videos. After graduating, she engaged in a variety of contract and internship jobs. These include writing a four-part series for a fictional podcast show and filming aesthetic visuals for a music label. In 2022, amidst her healing journey, Auzrielle launched her podcast, "Auz on Air: The Ballad of a Growing Black Girl," where she candidly discusses topics of personal growth and self-love. With her authentic, relatable, and insightful perspective, she seeks to empower and entertain others through her creative endeavors, embodying her simple yet profound desire to make a positive impact in the world. She is currently developing upcoming projects, such as short films and books.
